Terms of Service

The Gray Beard Investor CEO MasterClass - Fundraising Edition is a four-day online educational program designed for founders at idea stage through pre-Series A. Each cohort is limited to ten participants to ensure quality of instruction and peer discussion.

The program is operated by Hashem Zahran, trading as The Gray Beard Investor. By enrolling, you agree to these Terms of Service in full.

Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment of USD $249 per seat. Once confirmed, you will receive:

• A confirmation email with your cohort dates and session access links
• An invitation to the private alumni community within 24 hours of confirmation
• Pre-read materials delivered three days before your first session
• Lifetime access to session recordings following the conclusion of your cohort

Enrollment is personal and non-transferable. Your seat may not be transferred to another individual without prior written approval from us.

Sessions are delivered live via video conferencing. Participants are expected to attend all four sessions. While recordings are provided, the live experience - including real-time feedback, peer discussion, and instructor interaction - cannot be replicated from recordings alone.

We reserve the right to reschedule sessions in the event of technical failure, instructor illness, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, participants will be notified promptly and offered alternative dates. If a suitable alternative cannot be agreed upon, a full refund will be issued.

Participants agree to engage respectfully with the instructor and fellow cohort members. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose conduct is disruptive, abusive, or harmful to the learning environment of others, without refund.

Sessions are private and confidential. Participants may not record, reproduce, or distribute session content, materials, or the contributions of other participants without explicit written permission.

All content, frameworks, templates, materials, and recordings provided through the program are the intellectual property of Hashem Zahran and The Gray Beard Investor. Participants are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these materials for their own business purposes. Commercial reproduction, resale, or distribution of any program materials is strictly prohibited.

Refund requests must be submitted at least seven (7) days before the start date of your enrolled cohort. Requests submitted within seven days of the cohort start date will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances.

To request a refund, contact us at the email address below with your enrollment confirmation details. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 10 business days.

The program is provided for educational purposes only. Results shared by alumni are illustrative and not guaranteed. Individual outcomes depend on a wide range of factors outside our control, including market conditions, the nature of each business, and the effort applied by the participant. The Gray Beard Investor makes no warranty, express or implied, that participation in the program will result in successfully closing a funding round or any specific business outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Gray Beard Investor and Hashem Zahran shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your participation in the program, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for your enrollment.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the applicable territory. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes amicably before pursuing formal legal proceedings.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. For material changes that affect enrolled participants, we will provide notice by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
